The US military used to issue this in cans in WWI and WWII. Still Made in USA which I am a huge supporter of. It Shines up your shoes quick and easy. Since I grew up with WWII shoe polish and shoe paste this stuff has been around our house forever. But I tracked it down in the modern new plastic tub. Easy to use wipe on and wipe off of your shoes for a super quick shine. Gives them a nice glow. Removes and helps prevent dirt, small scuffs and scratches. Not recommended for suede or light colors as said on the package. But in our house we have found it works well on leather sneakers, any leather shoes with a smooth finish. see the example pictures of before and after dress shoes( not included in sale). It is a clear finish works well on rifle slings, leather gear, purses, jackets, gloves, etc. If you are not experienced with leather spot test the item you want to do in an inconspicuous place.
