Vintage 1950s Oriental Chinese Red Satin Robe Brocade Smoking Size 42 Med/Large

Specifications

This is a vintage smoking jacket or lounging jacket featuring a Chinese medallion pattern. The jacket is made of a faille fabric (fine grosgrain) that is embroidered in satin with the medallion pattern. The shawl lapels and cuffs are in satin that is quilted or stitched with a geometric pattern. It has an applied pocket on the left chest and on either side, all trimmed in the same stitched satin. The piece closes with a plain satin sash belt. The interior is lined in maroon satin. The item has belt loops but are partially detached and does not come with the belt/tie. Otherwise the condition is excellent.
